Forums Are Great Resouces for Information and Help

I am a regular visitor to the Digital Point Forum. I closely follow two threads: affiliate marketing and blogging. For anyone doing both, this is the place to get free help and information.

For instance, in the blogging section, I came across this question:

How Do I Set Up A Blog And Start Earning From It?
I really want to set up a blog for free and start earning.

Can somebody please give me a bit of advice on how to set a blog up for free and earn?

Whoa..wait a minute ! First of all, you seem to think that having your own blog is a free way to make money without investing anything...nothing is further from the truth.

Blogging for dollars is a business, and if you are not willing to spend anything at all, you will get out of it what you put into it.

To be a successful blogger and make a living, you need to:
1. Be a good content writer.
2. Have knowledge, passion or expertise in a niche.
3. Learn SEO
4. Learn Internet Marketing.
5. Be good at, learn how to make, or buy a good design.
6. Understand Social Networking, and Bookmarking...not just plopping up links, I mean learn it.
7. Learn how to run a business effectively and turn a profit.
